Piston valves regulate fluid flow by moving a piston or plug inside a cylindrical body to either block or permit flow through the valve.The main components of a piston valve include the cylindrical body (valve chamber), piston or plug, valve seat, and actuator mechanism (which can be manual, pneumatic, or electric).These valves feature a cylindrical sleeve that houses the piston or plug. The sleeve provides additional sealing and wear resistance, making sleeved piston valves suitable for abrasive or corrosive fluids

Disc Check Valves
Disc check valves operate based on the principle of a swinging disc that allows flow in one direction while preventing backflow in the opposite direction. When fluid flows in the correct direction, the disc swings open, allowing the fluid to pass through with minimal resistance.The main components of a disc check valve include the body, disc (or flap), hinge mechanism, and seat.
